Well, I was just cruising around fanfiction.net and I came across this gem of a summary:
Title- Fairy Boys
Summary- Glam rock fever grips Gryffindor Tower, and various love affairs are carried out to the glitterific sounds of Brian Slade and Curt Wild. Sort of a crossover with 'Velvet Goldmine'. Expect rampant bisexuality.
LOL. The part about "rampant bisexuality" is what does it for me at the end. I see a big pile of bisexuality (don't ask me how this is possible) on a out-of-control mine cart careening through the halls of hogwarts, crashing into poor confused students in its path of destruction and leaving a trail of new bisexuals in its wake.
Well, I mean, obviously that's not what they meant... and the word "rampant" has nothing to do with mine carts... but that's what came to mind. It's the result of concentrating too much on my history term paper. And to be sure, there's nothing acutely wrong with the summary--I mean, there are no glaring grammar errors or fangirl speech, but it's cracking me up. And no, it is not a parody. Sadly enough.
Geez. Why do I even write about silly stuff like this in my lj? Maybe I should make it more serious-you know, just write entries when stuff HAPPENS or when I have super-intelligent EPIPHANIES. But then I'd never get to write anything at all, ever.
So that's why you get to hear about the Fairy Boys and their rampant rockin' mine cart of bisexuality instead.
And just because we're on the line of Harry Potter, I give you:
