(no subject)
Earlier this week, I was volunteering at a thing. I spent some time talking with someone my age. I've known him in passing for a couple of years now, but this was the first time that we have actually had a conversation. Later that night, I realized that was the first time I have had face to face interaction (besides cashiers at the market or the office supply delivery guy) with someone my own age in 4 months. I work with a few people around my age, but because we are so spread out, it's almost always via phone or email. I guess I forget how cut off from my peers I am. Yes, I put myself in this position, but damn, I miss having friends in the area.
