There are
13
people with my name
in the U.S.A.
How many have your name? Whoo, only 13? I don't have THAT unusual a name, surely? In Ireland there's probably 500 of me. :P
Saturday was much fun. I was working during the day, for a certain value of 'work'; we took the Saturday Asperger's group to the transport museum. Surprisingly, they weren't all that into it. Instead we all had very involved and in-depth discussions about Dr Who, Stargate Atlantis and Megaman. (Note that I'm not actually into any of these fandoms, and my input into everything was based entirely on geeky cross-pollination on my various flists. :P)
Then I rushed home, got changed, and headed to the last night of Amadeus. Last night in my secret little hideaway watching over the action and whispering songs to Bryoni over the headsets. (For some reason we spent the entire run singing Sweeny Todd songs. No, I've not seen the Tim Burton version yet.) I think Amadeus is a fucking awesome show, and that everyone in it was amazing - I'm totally jealous. I have so many favourite bits that it's pointless to list them all, and the whole last section - from Salieri confronting Mozart onwards - is just... *___* I got shivers the first time I saw it. Also there are gay Mozart fanboys in it. :D
I'm going to miss flopping about on the completely random and amazingly comfortable white sofa backstage, randomly quoting favourite lines with Bryoni and Eilidh. I'm going to treasure the memory of waxing all the boys' legs. I will be forever jealous of the costumes, and I will be forever stunned at being trusted with a job like making sure the audience can see what's going on onstage.
The backstage party was at my house, and was quite a laugh. :D Stacia and Lucy, Natasha's Cool University Friends (and hopefully future flatmates, eee!) came over, so it was awesome to get a chance to chat with them a bit more. Lucy is a fellow-fangirl, and Stacia has good taste in musicals - Jesus Christ Superstar FTW! - so hurrah. :D When They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard came on, everyone rushed into my livingroom and started hopping around like maniacs, so I ran upstairs to get my Eowyn cut-out and join in. XD I also seem to recall being locked in a bathroom with eight other people swapping bras.
... one of those people was James. Hm.
All in all, a fun fun fun day. And I didn't even get a hangover. If only Death Note 7 hadn't eradicated my joy DDD:
