(no subject)

You know, I had a whole bunch of stuff I wanted/needed to do today, but there's the whole Daylight Savings Time thing going on, and because of it, I woke up at noon. When I wake up at noon, it's basically a given that today will be unproductive. Storyboards, journals, bah!

I think I will instead go to Wegman's and get the fixings for chocolate tofu pie. Because the sweltering (fifty-five degree) weather calls for cool, cool desserts and iced tea. This sentiment is echoed by my reproductive system.

School-wise, I need to get my ass in gear on my film (anyone want to get me a DVX this weekend? oh please?) and buy a snorkel mask and figure out the best way to turn a bathtub full of water into a bathtub full of blood. Dana is thrilled to act in my film. My mother is baffled by its premise. On the phone, I told her, "Dana's going to be in a suicide scene. ..well, she's not the one who's dead, someone else is, she's just there. ...it's experimental." And the 'it's experimental' is the only thing which elicited a response from her. Because if it's experimental, it can be fucked up, and also no one's going to get it! Hoorah!

Also, I had a dream last night where I disrupted the school's Taking Back Sunday concert on horseback with a few other film students. There were only fifty people there, anyway. But we rode by holding colorful banners and shouting curses. I wish I understood my subconscious sometimes.

This is all that is going on.
