Strange day.

I Finished interview 3 out of 4 for this position I applied for. I will find out tomorrow if I make the grade. I think this is progress otherwise they would not have invited me to interview #4.

My mom came to pick me up since my car was in the shop. I accidentally left my phone in her car.

My car just got out of the shop looks like I am going to have to get a new one to replace it. Its going to cost over $5000 to fix my car. Looks like I will have to start researching new cars.

After picking up my car I had to get gas since the car was near empty.

I end up getting an angry truck driver riding my bumper in the non passing lane. There was a slower car in the passing lane. The driver started flashing their head lights at me trying to speed me up. I did not feel the need to go any faster considering there were two cars in front of me. So I decided continue en route and let the jerk box himself in behind the other person who did not want to speed up.

I finally fill my car with gas and have to cross the city again where traffic is building from people wanting to go home. I drive on side roads trying to avoid the highway and finally make it all the way home. When I get home I walk to the door, reach in my pocket, to find...

that I have no keys and no cell phone. The neighbors aren't home. So I head to the closest gas station buy something to eat and ask if I can use the phone explaining my situation. The clerk hands me a phone and then I dial my moms number get her mail box. I dial my dads and it gets through! I tell him what happened he tells me he will be home ASAP. The traffic heading home was really bad he made it back to the house around 45 min after I called him. On a good day heading from home to my dad's office only takes 5 to 10 min. Isn't it amazing how much of a difference there is between rush hour traffic and a normal day outside the traffic.

Another day in paradise ;).

Hope all is well with y'all.
