I have to admit I didn't really notice much in the way of errant punctuation, but I think that was primarily because the font was so tiny...
I don't know if it's the format of your journal or the resolution on my computer screen at work (which is set up because of the programs we use) or both, but my weak old eyes didn't catch as much as I might have otherwise. ;0)
I did like the rhythm of it, though, but apart from all of the technicalities, I do love the emotions and how you expressed them. Very nicely done.
And I'll second the recommendation of the Haven. I don't read nearly as much fanfic as some of the people who hang out in the fanfic folder there, but there are always interesting discussions going on--and the folks there are great resources for all kinds of XF details. Also, if you're looking to read XF fic, the folks there know of all kinds of stories to fit almost any idea/fantasy/obsession one might have and have links to all kinds of archives and lists.
They can also help with formatting info for Ephemeral and/or Gossamer, as well as other info. In the past there have been ongoing grammar/punctuation/writing in general discussions and so forth.
Once again, though, I'd like to say that this is a great little piece!

I have actually joined Haven. Everyone is very kind, and I've found myself addicted to The Coffee Clutch folder. I'm Fidella over there as well.
I'm constantly trying to work on getting better with the technicalities of writing. I've never really payed much attention to them, and I'm quickly learning that I'd better start!
I hope you'll read my coming fics. As soon as I'm done with them that is!
Thank you again for reading AND commenting. It means a lot. =D
