Brief summary:
Lindy Focus was GREAT! My dancing was quite rusty but I think I got it nearly back to where I like it. I entered the jack and jill competition and made it to the finals (I ranked #3 for the pre-lims!!) and danced with physics dan in the finals and we kicked ass and danced great but didn't place, which is ok because we had a fun dance. Classes were good and I met cool people.
gonna go hang out with my old friend chris! my mom still wishes I would marry him. haha.
I am feeling ambivilant about going back to ireland. I love it there but I love it here too, and I can legally work here. But I think it is my mission to make the lindy scene better there. When I go back, I am going to try to start up a monthly dance that is not in a crowded bar, put together some sort of organizational group, teach more classes, train up a lead to be my partner, and try to organize a big solo jazz weekend.
