Thank you, thank you, thank you for making me laugh when I had just finished doing one person's taxes and could no longer put off tackling someone else's very awkward accounts so that I can do her taxes before the year end (in the UK they have to be in and paid by 31 January and I won't be here/functioning after the end of December). I shall send the link to my brother who will greatly appreciate the equine feeding bit, since he is responsible for the formulation of an equine ration which is used by all those trainers of Champion Hurdlers in the UK who can get hold of it. The secret is known only by my brother and the owner of the small mill in the Midlands where it is produced. Most of the major feedstuff manufacturers would love to get the formula, but Rob and his partner won't sell, so the secret will probably die with the miller.

Now I feel fit to turn my attention to the accounts, - aided, I have to say, by the wonderful sound of Bach on Radio 3, which, in the period between 15 and 23 December, is playing everything Bach ever wrote. Marvellous! (Her Catness has just jumped onto the bed behind me to give me moral support. What a sweetie!
