Bill boards
So I guess I can say I've finally "made it" in some sense in the entertainment industry- I saw my face on a bill board. In Albuquerque. And it was weird and sort of creepy, yet cool.
Even weirder was that a friend who I haven't seen or talked to in about 6 years called her brother (who I am also friends with and talk to on a regular basis) to ask if I was playing in Albuquerque anytime soon. He said yes, he was pretty sure I was. Why? Oh, she'd seen my head on a bill board and figured it meant I'd be in town. Of course when I was told the story I called her up and we visited and had a marvelous time.
I guess bill boards can bring people together...
