2008

2008 has been a big year. I started the year off still working at Commercial Art. On the 4th I finished, went home and started packing for San Diego. I came home from California on the 12th, and on the 13th moved to Utica, then started classes and a new job with BOCES on the 14th. Somehow I survived, and even felt better than I had in a long time, I think because everything was so new. Michael moved into his new place in February, so we were finally close together. We adopted a lizard. I managed to keep up a 4.0 average. Three days after my last final I moved to a new apartment. In May I started in the Financial Aid office and took a summer class. I took summer belly dancing lessons. In July I got undiagnosed with celiac. In September I started working at the school library and at MVCC, and in late September started working at the New Hartford library. In November I learned to swim. I started running this year. I finished the fall semester and still kept my 4.0. Last Saturday my gramma died. She had surgery for colon cancer last Friday and just got out of the hospital on Christmas Eve. She was doing really well too. Weird ending to the year, but at least we all got to see her on Christmas.
