Okay...there's a flashing banner ad to the right that says 'Shave lindsay lohan' and a photoshopped picture of her with chest hair.  Definitely ranks high on the weirdest things I've seen in advertising.

Anyway.  I'm at work at the moment, taking a break from homework.  We have a presentation to do on Tuesday, and I found out today that the guy that was going to do the powerpoint fractured his leg last week and has been in the hospital, so I have to do it.  I haven't done a powerpoint since 10th grade but I'm hopeful that I can make it work out.  I feel more comfortable being in control of it.  Too bad tomorrow was already a busy day anyway...At this stage I'm pretty much just going to have dinner and call Michael when I get home then try to sleep a couple hours.  Then get up around 3 or 4, finish filling in gaps in the research, go to the gym at 7, meet with my advisor at 8, go to the library after that and clean up my response paper for history, then start trying to work on the powerpoint.  Class at noon, then back to the library from 2-4, class at 4.  Hopefully we'll get out early because we're doing a workshop rather than a regular lecture.  At 6 I have to go to the holiday inn for a mary kay thing.  I would bail on that except that it's with the people from the financial aid office and I'm pretty sure the only reason Sharlene agreed to go is because I was going.  Then after that I was planning on going to the pool for my swim lesson, but if it comes to it I can skip that because I told them last week I might not make it.  Still, I would rather go if I can...I really like swimming.  Then finally home around 9, more work until it's reasonably close to done, then probably either running or the gym in the morning, and meeting Jeanine at noon to tweak the presentation.

Today was good until I found out about the presentation.  I went for a walk this morning, and about 2 miles from home my phone alarm started going off, reminding me to take my pill, which of course I forgot about and didn't bring with me.  I figured the faster I went the sooner I'd be home to take it, so I started running, and I actually ran for 10 minutes straight without stopping, which is about 5 times longer than I've been able to do since high school.  So that was really encouraging.  Even though I haven't been running I've been doing cardio and it's definitely making a difference in my endurance.

I'm really missing Michael though.  The whole situation sucks.  I just want this week to be over.
