Hi everyone. I've been a member of this community for a while, just lurking, but I thought I'd take the plunge and introduce myself.
I'm a fiddler from British Columbia, and I've been playing since September 2000 or December 2001 depending on how you look at it. I mostly play in the Cape Breton style, although I also really like French Canadian and Métis fiddling.
Anyway, in exactly two weeks, my brother and I are leaving for Nova Scotia and intermediate week at the Ceilidh Trail School of Music with Richard Wood and Brenda Stubbert, and to put it oh-so-maturely, I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Has anyone else ever been?
