Walking Dead:
Excellent first episode of the season. Love that nothing is explained (what have Rick and Co. been up to since we left them? What exactly happened to Michonne and Andrea over the winter? Why didn't all the walkers die over the winter anyway? Who are the two walkers Michonne drags around with her - I know this, but just because of the comics - ? Etc.) and hardly anything is said, they just showed us how everyone was interacting now. Love that they're allowing Carl to basically age in real time, because if we had been supposed to buy that only a couple days had passed it would never work - that kid has grown way too much - but I can buy that many months have passed. Love that Rick and Laurie can barely look at each other, and love that Laurie addressed the idea that if her baby has died she's likely carrying a walker around inside of her right now (EEEEEEEW. SO GLAD I'M NO LONGER PREGNANT WHILE THIS IS ON.) Like that they're attempting to save Hershell by chopping off his leg, because I'm always the person shouting at the TV for someone to try that, and like that there's other survivors in the prison, because if this group of fuckups have lived this long there's got to be other people out there. So yeah, in case you couldn't tell, I'm pleased and looking forward to next episode like crazy!
American Horror Story:
Hmmm. Interesting for sure, not as scary as I was hoping for, but in looking back I'm not sure the first episode of the last season was all that scary right off the bat, either. I spent most of the episode playing spot-the-cast-member-from-last-season: Jessica Lange is back, of course, and the guy who played Tate, and the woman who played the bitchy wife of the creepy surgeon, and I know Zachary Quinto will be coming back soon as well. I'm not thrilled with the whole alien abduction aspect, but I'm intrigued to see where they're going with the whole asylum-mad-doctor thing, and I'll definitely stay tuned in!
Elementary:
HELLO, WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS SHOW?! There was one episode, which I enjoyed, and now it's flippin' disappeared? How annoying.
Presidential Debate:
HA! NOW THAT'S THE DEBATE I WAS HOPING FOR LAST TIME! Obama being a badass and Romney making hilarious gaffes which turn into instant internet memes. Binders full of women! :)
