Well, she does a hell of an American accent!

So, this last week we'd DVR'd Hatfields & McCoys on the History channel (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1985443/), and I finally got around to watching it over the last couple days. Not bad, I was actually fairly impressed by Kevin Costner, sadly not so much with Bill Paxton, but what was REALLY driving me spare was the fact that, in the opening credits for each episode, one of the names that went by was "Sarah Parish." Holy Hell, I thought, I'll recognize her for sure!!!! Then I spent the rest of the show waiting for her to appear. We finally finished it just now, and I had to hop on IMDB to see who she played.

Yeah, um, ONLY ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS. Kevin Costner's wife, in fact. Jeez.

Even worse than spotting an actor and going nuts trying to figure out where you know them from (as I did with the actress who played Nancy McCoy - she was Gretchen in Donnie Darko. Oh, and Roseanna McCoy was Jason Stackhouse's werepanther girlfriend Crystal on True Blood.) is when you know there's an actor that you SHOULD recognize, and you can't spot them! Admittedly, the accent completely threw me.
