God I'm depressed.
Why is it, when you're trying to get pregnant and have just discovered for the umpteenth time that you're not, that you go to the hairdresser's and every goddamn magazine you pick up is full of effing celebrities holding their cute fucking new babies, and speculation about who may or may not be pregnant?
:(
Oh well. Watching Spaced is helping. Which reminds me...let me ask yous somethin' (why yes, I am right in the middle of my favourite episode with Tyres, why do you ask? :) ): I'm trying to continue my winning streak of gifting my dad with DVD sets of some of my favourite shows that I think he'd also like for Christmas. Last year, I got him The West Wing, and the year before that Life On Mars. He psychotically loved both. I'm considering going with Spaced this year. Do you think a man in his early sixties who loves quirky British humour, but who isn't necessarily great with pop culture references, would enjoy it? He's also not big on drug humour, and he abhors violence...the violence isn't a big deal with Spaced (except for some moments in the zombie episode, but he loved Shaun of the Dead), but the drug use is obviously quite rampant. Haven't made up my mind...
