Apparently all it took was my complaining about it this morning! Thank you to everyone for telling me to chill and for your suggestions - this afternoon at work purely on a lark I checked Fandango again and lo and behold, there they were!
The wonderful thing is that, not only is there a 12:01 AM showing, but there's also a 9 PM showing on Thursday evening! Which works so much better for us, because we're old fogeys and totally fail at staying up past midnight anyway, plus Mr. gin has to work on Friday.
