*happy sigh*
Today's mission, apart from the usual Saturday chores and such, is to watch a bunch of Ten-era Who. I need to reacquaint myself with Ten's voice and mannerisms for...erm, research.
Yeah, I'm writing.
ANYway, figured this episode was a good place to start, and man was I right. I think this might be my favourite episode ever - it just doesn't fall flat in any way. Hilarious, unexpectedly moving, over the top in all the right ways. I adore Agatha and how she's played, love Lady Edison and her little secret-drunken-hiccuping, and the Doctor and Donna are of course wonderful. I just love that, all these years and all these rewatches later, I still crack up at all the same parts.
So...if you had to pick one episode which you'd say Sums Up Ten really well, for my purposes, what would you suggest? Keeping in mind: I'm trying to avoid anything that will Crush Me, or anything involving big libraries, the Empire State Building or clockwork robots.
ETA: It's working! Only problem is, I'd forgotten how hard it is to SHUT TEN UP once he gets going. I'm supposed to be out doing the shopping, instead I'm sitting here, tap-tap-tapping away. :)
