Doctor Who meme, day 11
Ugh. Last night our power went out at around 6 or so. We'd been at the pub, came home, and nothing worked. And it was getting dark. So, what did we do? Go back to the pub of course, and then also get invited over to the neighbours for more drinks and chatting. I feel like absolute shite today...I see a super duper strong Bloody Mary in my future.

Day 11 - Your Favourite Season (Classic or New)
Hmm. Well, I could say Season 2, as it was our first season with Ten, Ten and Rose were together and in love and adorable and we got awesome episodes like Idiot's Lantern and Tooth and Claw. But I'm actually going to go with... Season 4.
S4 is my absolute happiest memories of the show since I got into it. I knew Rose was coming back long before it even started, so I had that to look forward to. I loved Donna from the word go and loved her friendship with the Doctor. Ten was almost happy again for awhile there, and sexy as hell. It was funny, it made me cry, it encouraged my friendship with unfolded73 and many others who I think of as genuine Friends and not just internet-friends. TSE / JE reunited so many characters I cared about, I felt spoiled, and I actually loved the resolution of Journey's End. I got my Bad Wolf tattoo during S4, and I have so many happy memories of sitting there waiting for my downloads, pacing and chain smoking and calling Mr. gin in tears because OMG TEN WAS REGENERATING!!!!! There were no episodes which fell flat for me as there has been at least one in every other season, even SitL / FotD I enjoyed, the first time through. It was a magical time, and I don't think I'll probably experience anything like it ever again, in fandom. *wistful sigh*
