Thoughts re: CiN
On one hand, I absolutely hate what they are doing to Ten's character. HATE. IT. They're making me despise him, and I resent that strongly.
On the other hand, I know that occasionally, recently especially, it takes me several days to kind of chew on the new episodes before I can let myself enjoy them. So I'll have to check back in in a few days, and then maybe I'll get the humour. Right now, crazy!Ten makes me feel kind of sick.
And on the OTHER hand (yeah, I have three hands, what of it?), it has become blatantly obvious that they have decided to fly in the face of EVERY GODDAMN DOCTOR WHO "LAW" there is...not only did they have the Doctor make a blatant sexual reference, but he now has a keychain control for the TARDIS. They are definitely ending with a big, two-fingered salute, it would seem. And considering that Rose is going to be back in the finale, even if it's just a past version of Rose (although I seem to remember there being some kind of kerfluffle about her filming a scene with alt!Ten?), I don't think they'd bring poor Billie Piper back again and get her all tarted and chav'ed up unless they were planning to GO BIG.
I live in hope!
