Oh I can't contain my JOY!
COMPUTER'S COMING HOME TODAY!!!!
Seriously, it is not natural to love a non-living object (which, y'know, doesn't require batteries) as much I love that computer. I realize it doesn't seem like it's impacted my life that much, as I still post about random boring crap with regularity, but it has. Each time I post on this wee teeny little screen, Mr. gin is standing on the sidelines giving me puppy-dog eyes and asking plaintively "Can I get on my computer soon?" :( I'm going to go re-read all the fic which I've only been able to give brief, perfunctory glances on my big lovely screen in my comfy office chair!!
In sadder news, my mum is not coming to visit this weekend, due to stupid life stuff. I'm really bummed; we had a whole day planned of cooking and sipping wine and (she didn't know this yet) Blackpool. Ah well.
So does anyone want to help me take the new computer for a test drive and watch some Blackpool or something on Saturday? Or maybe some earlier Doctor...we could go through our favourite early Ten eps, or something.
