Somehow there is little in the world that makes me feel warmer and happier inside than John and Mary, early on, with Dean just a burgeoning bump. That is absolutely beautiful, and what a wonderful way to end this spectacular -- SPECTACULAR -- Christmas fiction extravaganza you've given us. Thank you, Carol, for the fantastic glimpses of all these holidays, and the love that ties them all together.
Merry Christmas to you and your feathered babies, and much much love!
I had in mind from about 10 days ago that I wanted to finish this all up back at the beginning - so I was sort of prodding myself along so I could "see" John and Mary - two young kids in love, awaiting their first baby, having fun and laughing.
You're very welcome - I'm glad I could help brighten up the season for you.
The tears came for this one, nearly right away. The sob came with the picture tie in. Brilliant touch with Bobby finding that picture. Nice full circle moment. If Dean only knew how much love was felt between his parents when that picture was captured. Maybe he does, thru his love for his new family.
Thanks so much for your Christmas spree of squee. You nearly make me forget about Kripke and company.
SNOWFALL Squeeee!!!! It's like Christmas all over again.
I think I've formed an unhealthy attachment to Dean/Morgan. (Note to self: Seek counseling immediately)
By the way, I know writing sex scenes isn't your thing, so much thanks for the cute references to the hot action in Grown Up Xmas List. Put a big ole grin on my face. :D
You're welcome! It's not that I *wouldn't* write the hot stuff, but it's tough to do it in an interesting way. It's sort of...body parts going various places. I find it more interesting to hint at it, and let your imagination do the rest. But we'll see.
BTW, I'm organizing a brand-new little notebook for titles and bunnies so that I can be very on top of things in 2008. I noticed that you suggested Funky Town as a title, and wanted a fic showing where the "emergency words" came from (the signal between the boys). I plugged it into "Hide & Seek." Did you notice?

Now I have to go back and re-watch season 1, because SNOWFALL takes place then. But ya know, that's never a hardship.
The writing will go on, strike or no strike!
