I keep hearing that song ("Cowboys and Angels," Dustin Lynch) on the radio -- and man, it sticks in my head.  So here you go: one cowboy.  One battered angel.  And a smile you could interpret any number of ways.  Little bit of a coda to FrontierlandCHARACTERS:  Dean and Castiel

Castiel simply shrugged.

Awwww, yay for supportive!Cas!! *hugs him* Poor, beaten up Cas and poor, disillusioned Dean ;) I LOVED the little pout in that episode though, still cracks me up :P Fab job!!

Thank you! I haven't done a whole lot with Dean and Cas, but that song just wouldn't get out of my head - especially since Show gave us the perfect occasion to go with it!

This is one of the most beautiful little Destiel fics I've ever read! You know, without actually being Destiel... If I'm making sense at all.

It's so good to see somebody (Cas, YAY!) taking the time to actually fondly take notice of Dean. And one of his little quirks. Giving him the time to share, rather than mock him.
