Oh dear, now you've done it.

My husband drives a Smart car. A blue one, as a matter of fact.

And it has plenty of room inside for someone Sam-sized! I know it looks ridiculous on the outside but it has Tardis qualities, it is way bigger inside than it ought to be, and it can certainly go faster than a bicycle--we routinely exceed the speed limit on the highway, okay?!

This was a funny story except for the fact that you dissed my car! :)

You're overlooking two seldom-mentioned laws of physics:
1) Sam expands to fill all available space, and
2) NOTHING is faster than Sam on a bicycle. *g*

I had to allow Dean his dissing. Poor guy misses his Baby, and by comparison everything else is...a freakish alien thing. Especially when he's stuck in a construction zone, watching Sam go rocketing by...

Two points
Appearently Sam is very fast on a bike, a normal Smart makes more than 80 mph. As a german I have no idea how fast you are allowed to drive in the US, but that can't be that slow in comparison.
And - even a Sam-size Sasquatch fits in it. The driver and passenger has enough room, you just don't have space for much else...

I just have to say something for this car as I love Smarts
But then, I never understood this american obsession with ridicolous oversized vehicles (the only exception being the 67 Impala and the 59 DeSoto, of course)
