Nice way to tie missing scenes with Sam's somewhat surprising knowledge of The Good Wife. I enjoyed everything about this. I just hope show can keep up with the light, affectionate tone that you do so well.

Thanks for sharing.

You're very welcome! I just love how these new episodes are hitting just the right note for me, so that I can weave some new fic for you guys. My fingers are tightly crossed that it continues. :)

Carol, I absolutely loved this. Spot on, as usual, and in my eyes canon (no surprise there, eh?). You know, I moved 22 times before the age of 18, went to 10 different schools...and TV was my best friend. Got to the point where I didn't want to make "people" friends because "what was the point?" So that line about TV getting Dean through his childhood...I totally identify with that.

Anyway, this is a wonderful story, wonderful tie-in. Thanks so much!

My family didn't move around (just a couple of times, within a few blocks), but there was a lot missing emotionally in RL for me. So I ended up in the same place: using the people on TV as my friends. And I started creating fic because an hour a week wasn't enough. It's a safe place to be, a lot of the time - and these days, it allows me to meet people like you.

*hugs*

And, you're welcome. :)

You can tell so about a person from their attitude to TV!

Great story, and I'm glad you're enjoying this season! (Me too!)

Nice, light, blessedly-free-of-angst slice o' life. Works for me every once and again! Almost curtain!fic and I kinda dig those. Hard.

Even for me (with Angst as my default setting), there've got to be a few lighter moments!

Glad you enjoyed it. :)
