This is a terrific update, Carol. The rich layers you're developing for the characters are equal parts familiar and illuminating. I like that you've re-visited Home. I like that Dean is as ill-at-ease returning there as he was in season one. I'm also enjoying the warm relationship between Missouri and Dean.

I'm looking on that one thing (Mary telling John the truth) as a kind of Butterfly Effect thing - setting in motion a lot of small things that had bigger effects along the line, for a lot of people. So I'm allowing myself the freedom to alter relationships, and even certain personalities a little bit. *cackles* I feel very Kripke-like.

Oh my god, even Grandpa Samuel and Grandma Deanna are showing up!! I just hope if Cas appears he doesn't take Pamela's eyes this time!

Can Rufus come too?? I want to see Rufus and Pamela and Missouri in the same room sooooo bad!!!

Oh and thank you for not being one of these people who whine about how cruel Missouri was to Dean, when it was patently obvious she was being the exact opposite. I would have loved to have seen her with the boys when they were kids. I'm thinking this is the next best thing.

No, no burning eyeballs this time! I'll promise that much.

My take on the Missouri situation is, she gave Dean exactly what he needed to accomplish his job (in Home). If she'd mothered and coddled him, he would have fallen apart. But she delivered just enough snark to keep him distracted and capable. The woman's a PSYCHIC, for Pete's sake!

Hmm, Rufus. Must ponder that!

This is pretty freakin' fabulous. I loved Pamela so much in the series, and hated the way we only got to see her a few times - so I'm really glad to see her here. She's softer somehow, too. And a little more scared....

I liked her too! Although I think the writers didn't quite know what to do with her at a couple of points in between her rockin' first appearance and her death. She went a little over the top, for me. But that's just sloppy writing - I won't blame Pam herself!
