I've been staring at artwork all day, waiting for inspiration to come -- and it finally did, when I looked at this particular piece of Steve Hanks' lovely watercolor creativity.  It brought to mind summer afternoons at my former place of employment, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which is conveniently located alongside the fabled La Brea Tar

I kept looking at that picture, trying to think of an angle for the ficlet, and all of a sudden I realized, it looks like he's...pooping! And far be it from me to ignore a truly wacky idea. Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh, Deany baby, wanting to be right, wanting someone to be on his side! Wee!Dean always seems to make me sniffle!

Also, "I'm POOPIN, Dad! was utterly unexpected, and utterly obvious when you think about it! (no pun intended, heh).

Love how you wrote Sam here - wilful and so sure he's right, even at that age!

And was the, "Noooo, Dad," a deliberate hark back to the pilot? Kudos if it was!
