Awesome little slice of their surreal life. Rescuing drunk cheerleaders with a body in the impala's trunk. I loved the quiet humor over the "Mister" remarks, Sam's pointing out a grey hair then Dean not turning on the radio. Thank you.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I was inspired last weekend, when I saw a group of girls running around what seemed to be a stalled car, in the middle of a huge intersection near my house. Although I didn't have a body in my trunk... *g*

Don't lie. You know you had a body in trunk. *snort*

Great little fic!

Alas, I have only boring stuff in my trunk. About the weirdest thing in there is a Scooby-Doo pillow.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Wonderful! This has a nice feel and great voice. "Mister" must be along the same lines as "Ma'am" - a reminder of the test of time.

Great job!

Thanks, Ruth!

That first "ma'am" is mind-spinning, isn't it? In fact, it's still pretty mind-spinning for me. I keep thinking, "No, wait, I'm not... Oh. Yes I am."

I turned to the woman I was with after it was over and I said "I'm not a ma'am. My mother is a ma'am. I can't be a ma'am yet."

But I was.

I love Dean's attitude. That is fun in itself. A little stuffy, worried about the kids, having Sam call the cops after. Berating himself because, yeah this should be Porn as Real Life. But truth be told they are drunk kids. Cheerleader or no.

Our boy is growing up.

*sniff*

Great Saturday ficlet.

I was gonna have them just drive away, but then I thought no, it would occur to them that those kids are there all on their own, and who knows what they'll get into with no parents around. So Dean had to put on his Stuffy Old Fogey hat.

Glad you enjoyed the fic!

Now this has to be in an episode. Coming off a job, body in the trunk (lol), and the boys do what the boys always do - take control of the situation and save people. It might be from themselves this time and not anything supernatural, but saving nevertheless. And boy can I relate to Dean's freakout! Something similar happened to me not long ago (someone turned in front of me) only my poor Toyota couldn't stop in time and my car was written off. That feeling of just knowing you're going to hit something though... Ugh.

I also love grown-up responsible boys! There's something damn sexy about that, even if the cheerleaders called Dean mister *g*

Fabulous little slice of life, Carol!! One of my favourite type of one-shot fics when it comes to the boys.

First of all - that cat in your icon cracks me up. And freaks me out. \O/

I thought back to Dean screeching the Impala to a halt so as not to hit Molly in "Road Kill," and figured if anybody could stop that much car on a moment's notice, it'd be Dean. But not until his heart shot right up through the top of his head. Then I decided to mess with him a little more and had those kids call him "Mister." Poor guy.

I love the little slice-of-life stories too! Glad you enjoyed this one.

12 days to go...
