Need help finding a fic...
If you guys don't know where it is, I'll try storyfinders, but ...
I read a fic this past Thursday and (DUH!) should have bookmarked it, but I didn't. I seem to remember it being a recent entry on the person's LJ. Other than that, I have no memory of who wrote it, or how I found it.
It involves Jo going to a pawnshop, and running into Bela there. Jo's wearing a necklace (given to her by a boyfriend) that Bela ends up stealing -- exchanging it for her own necklace, which is a tiny pineapple on a silver chain.
The language was so beautiful, and the story so perfectly written, that I NEED to Mem it.
Does this sound familiar to anybody?
