Apr 27, 2011 23:10

Title: For the Lady's Hand
Fandom: A Song of Ice and Fire
Summary: In the future, with winter over, Sansa finds a familiar face. Or at least a familiar name, the face has changed.
Notes: This was written to a prompt, but said prompt is long forgotten. A bit of a twist on a ship. And not Sansa/Sandor.

Whoa, master politician Sansa! But seriously, I really like how you've made her grown up and aware of politics and power and how she can think objectively about what people and give her and what this marriage could mean, but she's still the Sansa we know, she's still polite and she can still empathise with people and yes, she is still a bit shallow in terms of looks. So I'm glad you've made her wise but not disillusioned? And how she's surprised to be called Lady Stark so she remembers the past a lot. And Margaery, manipulating things from prison! But I do like how they're not BFFs or sworn allies or anything here because it's true that Margaery didn't help Sansa much in the books, I can only remember one time they talked. I guess the Tyrrells were too closely tied to the Lannisters by that point to want to risk helping a Stark ( ... )
