Arrrgh the Martells and their fucked up lives. If this sort of incest is wrong then I am revelling in the wrongness, because this is just so... sweet? Beautiful? Because I still think Elia and Oberyn love each other as siblings, they just also love each other with their bodies. As siblings. Does that make any sense? Especially when Oberyn realises it's not the nakedness that Elia's ashamed of, it's him seeing her completely unpretending and unemotional and being completely herself in private? So anyway, I'm getting a different feel off Martellcest than Lannistercest, because with Cersei and Jaime it seems they think of each other as husband and wife with a bit of brother/sister thrown in? But Oberyn and Elia are always brother and sister, despite showing it with more naked bodies than is usually expected.

Also I really liked the comparison between Elia and the woman in the whorehouse? How they taste of slightly different fruit, and etc. And the last section, ow my heart. Interesting that when other men get angry they go and kill

I really really like this fic and I don't think it gets nearly enough attention, terrible as that sounds. Because I still think Elia and Oberyn love each other as siblings, they just also love each other with their bodies. This is exactly what I was going for - it's not about the sex, it's just that they love each other very much and both of them love to touch very much, and it is for Oberyn a natural progression, because Oberyn is so very physical with his love.

And his anger, as observed. XD The last section actually might be one of my favorites. Oberyn/Elia is my pet weird pairing that I'm pretty sure I'm kind of alone in shipping. Although maybe I have recruited you?

That is not terrible, I think we all have a fic that we expected would be a hit and then nothing happened to it. I have this vague fanon thing that Dornish people are more into body contact than other parts of Westeros? And also less upset about nudity because it's too hot to cover yourself completely with clothes.

I may be getting on board this bandwagon of Oberyn/Elia being the most loving siblings ever, I almost feel sorry for Doran not being as close to them, although he would of course freak out if he knew about the sex.
