This is great. This is so friggin great. I love how Dean, at the beginning, imitates his dad's voice just a little. I miss John, oh yes I do. I love Dean's confusion and kind of anger at futureDean, for letting Sam get stabbed, because that screams early seasons Dean.

I love this trope and want MORE always.

The part you pull out, about Dean's anger with future!Dean, is kind of my favorite thing about this fic. And part of why I wrote it. Oh, early season Dean, sometimes I miss you. But not always. Just sometimes. Hurrrr.

More of this trope is the best thing and everyone ever should write it, yes they should.
