i was sitting here burning a cd for Chris, when James (that would be my cousin, for those of you who don't know) comes in and says rather seriously, "Gina, I have some news for you..."
i'm thinking he's about to tell me Melissa, his girlfriend, is pregnant.
instead he tells me that Chris and I are going to be family; he and Melissa are getting married!
sure, i'm excited. but he's talking about them getting married on the 30th of this month. good god, i told you that some crazy shit was going on. after all, ancient folklore refers to October as being a time of new beginnings. this may be what James needs to get off his ass and actually do something with himself. it seems to be happening kinda fast though. However, that is their buisness, not mine. I wish them luck all the same cause i'll be damned if they aren't the cutest (and strangest) thing I've ever seen.
