It just wasn't natural.
It was that simple. He may hate Snape - always would - but that wasn't his main objection. Neither was the age difference or simply their difference. It just wasn't natural. It wasn't right.
Oh, he saw them, with their little fleeting touches, eyes lingering and even sometimes a curl of a lip that wasn't becoming a snarl -- it just wasn't natural. Why did no one else see it?
Then again, maybe, just maybe, he wasn't one who could judge. He wasn't really natural himself, ghosts never were. So he wouldn't say anything, he will just look and frown and hope upon hope that it ended soon, before he saw anything he really did not want to see.
It wasn't natural but it just might be something more evolved.
