(no subject)
Let's discuss why the last 24 or so hours of my life were utterly fantastic...
1. Hung out with Danny Friday night:
Originally we had discussed that he was working nights for the next month or so, so Friday night hanging out was unlikely. He called an left a message Thursday night after I had already gone to sleep, letting me know he wasn't working Friday night, and that if I wanted to get together, let him know. Made plans, took the train to Hicksville, and were on our merry little way.
Went to his house for a bit, debated what to do with Chris via IM, and then the 3 of us headed off to a bar near Amanda's.
2. Amanda likes me:
Amanda is Danny's best friend, and has been for about 7 years or so. Meeting Amanda, to Danny, is like meeting parents, for most boys. He really values her opinion when it comes to the girls he dates, and unfortunately for ALL of them, she hasn't liked them. :P
But Amanda likes me. And she told me. And she told Danny. And that DOESN'T happen. :D
I rule!!
3. Sex is amazing:
Yes. It sure is.
4. Hung out with Teri on Saturday:
Yay! Hung out with Teri who I haven't seen in ages. She's the bestest and I should hang with her more often. Not because she is good at Guitar Hero and brings me good luck, but because she is, and has always been, my favorite lady. :D Fridays, Halloween Stores, free coffee, Backstreet Boys, and movie watching. Awesomeness.
5. Tropical Berry Mojitos:
If you drink these too fast, they actually get you tipsy. Add being hyper cause you're with Teri and #6 in, and you'll see why Tropical Berry Mojitos are the best. Oh wait, and they taste fucking awesome.
6. Excellent Text Messages:
If you read anything on this list, this should be it. Teri and I are wandering around the Halloween Store when I get a wonderful little text message from Danny.
"Baby, what day is our anniversary?"
I start flipping out in excitement, yet am so fucking dumbfounded at the same time. I was unaware that we had an anniversary, let alone being "together" officially, so I didn't really know what to say, and thought it was super weird that he asked. But I didn't really care. Danny was asking me when our anniversary was and that made me assume the deal was sealed between us. (I hope that's true?)
I eventually wrote back "Interesting question baby. I didn't know we were officially like, together, so I didn't really pay attention. Billy Joel was July 16, which was when we really started seeing each other more often though, maybe that?? Dunno."
He responded with "Sounds good to me :) If you are okay with it."
So apparently my anniversary with Danny also happens to be the best night of my life. :) That's wonderful. I chose Billy Joel day not even because it was the best night of my freaking life, but more because when I am asked, or when I think back to when this me and Danny thing started up again, I always think back to that day. Prior to that, the last time I had seen him was April, and since Billy Joel day, we've seen each other at least once a week, if not more, since then. So I think that was the accurate choice. :)
7. The Mets:
THEY FUCKING WON. YOU GOTTA BELIEVE BABY. TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE FUCKING INSANE!!
8. The Brewers:
THEY FUCKING LOST!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! :)
9. Free Coffee:
I wanted coffee, and Teri did the cutest thing. She drove us all the way to Cosi just so I could get a free iced coffee. I thought that was so cute. :) Thanks Teri!
10. Backstreet Boys:
As usual, Teri and I had a BSB day. :)
11. Guitar Hero:
I sucked at it, but it was awesome.
12. Wendy's:
YUM NUGGETS.
Sooo that was the last 24 hours or so in a nutshell - pretty fucking awesome. I kept telling Teri all day that she brought me good luck and thanked her for giving me the best day ever hahahaha. :)

Something I never mentioned in the Billy Joel night entry, I guess because I wasn't sure where things were going to end up going with us, or if someone was going to read this that he knows (I have no idea who reads my LJ)... but it was so fucking cute, and part of the reason the night meant so much to me - I'm copying and pasting this out of an email I sent to my friend Kelly...:

He like whispered it into my ear.
*sigh* :)

Tomorrow is the last game at Shea. I'll be there. It's gonna be awesome, and the game REALLY matters. LETS GO METS!!!
