I am really not quite sure about the title of this post either, but i like it. ;D
I'm now officially off school until FEBRUARY. Which means WRITING and READING. A LOT. Hopefully.
I'm totally not looking forward to Christmas day, however, because I have to see my mum's side of the family. And they're a bunch of retards.
Why, you ask?
- There is a creepy uncle who is a womanizing, perverted old pig. He once gave my mum, my aunt and my great-aunt welts from smacking their asses.
- Ninety-nine percent of them are conservative, overzealous Catholics that just so happen to be as narrow-minded as a sheet of paper.
- Anything even vaguely alluding to anything against or indifferent to [or whatever, you get me] whatever-it-is-that-they-believe-in-in-Catholicism [I never listened and they're all different somehow, okay?] is dubbed the Antichrist / Satanic and MUST NOT BE. In other words, I am shunned like Charlie the Unicorn.
- There is always an argument over something.
- The only other people there my age are into Hannah Montanna and the Jonas Brothers.
- This is my first Christmas since I came out to my parents.
- The question at least one person asks me every year is "So, do you have a boyfriend?" And seeing as I was dumped six days into the relationship... yeah. Not a good topic.
This year, I'm seriously thinking of doing some shit to blow their minds. And scare them, because they are seriously so easy to scare.
- Bring my Marilyn Manson bag with me.
- Wear my heartagram and corpse-in-coffin necklaces.
- As much eyeliner and black/dark eyeshadow as humanly possible, possibly with lipstick. Paint nails.
- Purple or blueblack hair, if I get around to dying it within the next week.
- My gothboots, if I think I can last a day in them.
- Either my Emily Strange or ripped Jayjays skirt, with kneesocks and whatever shirt I dig out of the closet.
- Ensure iPod is fully charged and loaded up with Manson, Cradle of Filth and Deathstars [as they are apparently the creepiest].
- If creepy uncle starts anything, slap him.
Aaaaaaaand... I'm not going to bore you any longer, and I'm gonna do day two of my memething now.
[I'm doing my two favorite movies right now because I just want to.]
LET THE RIGHT ONE IN.
That is all I have to say, ohyes.
The book is better, but I watched the movie first so the movie's still good. And amaaaaazing.
THE CROW.
It's... gah. The first MA movie I ever watched willingly [The Sweetest Thing in the fourth grade was technically my first, but we won't get into that...] and... I never cry during it, but I get damn close. I want an Eric Draven. <3
