Use It Or Lose It
I've never really been one to post often. I suppose I use LJ as a sort of storage space for all the brilliance and oddity (See my Friends Page) I've come across here. But now that I've got some time on my hands, and no real excuse not to, I feel compelled to muck about in my own little corner a bit. Hopefully those that have already linked themselves here will not mind overmuch as I ramble on.
First up, I have a new icon, a cute little Simmie to represent my current obsession: The Sims 3. I had to rebuy the base game, because the company I bought it from originally was bought out and I could not, for the life of me, remember the username and password I'd used. Luckily though, amazon had Ambitions and Showtime on file for me. But I've ended up buying University Life and Supernatural as well this past month. I might post a few screenshots/stories from my games here eventually. I really like the Let's Play videos on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSimSupply and http://www.youtube.com/user/nic0lekAgames are my faves) but those seem like so much work!
Next, I'd like to list off some of the shows I've been watching this season.
Defiance - Mostly because of Julie Benz, Mia Kirshner, and Jaime Murray's characters, admittedly. It's a so-so show so far but I'm giving it a shot this season.
Glee -
Vampire Diaries -
Orphan Black - OMG, so good.
Nashville - Completely soapy but that (and the music) is what makes it so good.
Smash - See above.
Castle - I so do not know where this show is going anymore but I still love to watch it.
The Client List - If this and Nashville could crossover, that would be awesome.
The Game of Thrones - Cersi has been less awesome this season but Daenerys has more than made up for it in the bad-ass category.
Big Bang Theory - I've been a tad lax in keeping up with this one, but since it's a sitcom, they're easy enough to catch up on.
When they comes back on I'll be watching Pretty Little Liars, The Lying Game, Teen Wolf, Dexter, and True Blood.
Are there any Simmers out there? What about fans of the shows I've listed?
