I received an email from Heidi this morning, who gave me an update on what's going on with FictionAlley. The DNS entries have been changed for all the domains connected with FA and things should start to come back up soon. There's an Apache error at the moment with Schnoogle, but that is relatively easy to fix, but just might take some time for the ( Read more... )

Alas, the DNS entries are still down, for me anyway, as at Saturday 22:00 GMT. (So I doubt my sending an e-mail message to the help address would work, as it's based on the same domain name!)

Hmm. Yeah, it's down for me, too, except for Riddikulus (will that load for you? It's the only part of FA that I can get to come up). I've posted to the Mod list to see if others are having the same issues, and will update the LJ/Twitter account once I've heard back.

Thank you for letting me know you were having trouble! (And the @fictionalley email addresses were working when I originally made the edit to this post, but yeah, it's a good guess that they probably aren't working now, if the site is indeed down again. Sigh.)

I've received a couple of e-mail forum notifications since my first comment so I guess it's working for some people; the DNS can be like that, with various delays built into the cascade of updates over the internet, I think. And you did originally say it would be up by Monday, so no foul!

Yeah. I still can't get anything but Schnoogle and Riddikulus to load, but Heidi said she's getting the main page and the Park. Our techs said it can take a few days, but by Monday (as you mentioned) things should be back up for good. Here's hoping, at any rate! :)
