Love your SED series. Your writing style is clear and easy to read and the stories are very enticing. I really love Ivan in this chapter, love the way he is being gentle brother, then a strict harsh commander, and not to mention his childish happiness in such warring times. I love Psycho!Ivan.

Can't wait for your upcoming chapters =)

Hooray, review! I'm glad you like the gleefully violent Ivan... He'll be in... what chronologically would come next but I'm not sure what order I'll actually write it in because I have three pieces that go earlier than this one almost ready to post now...

Currently I'm freaking out because the mods at little_details haven't approved any posts for, like, two days and I'm going crazy going "but I need answers!"

As always I adore your writing. Ivan is fantastic ^_^*

and Germany...oh Ludwig poor Ludwig T_T what they've done to you...

It's a bit difficult to remember who is who when there is so many names flung around (I'm used to just thinking of them by country names) but their personalities make it a lot easier.

Thanks for another chapter! ^_^

Oh my gosh, I know. That's why these two parts have been much longer than the others, there's just way too many people! I'm trying to keep track of what they're all doing and stuff... I kept going back and forth in the text being like "Wait, Lithuania would probably be all worried about Poland so he'd come too. Crap, but then they don't really do anything... I guess that's okay... Oh wait! Ivan was supposed to shoot Ludwig! What paragraph was that... here! Now where the hell is everybody else durring all this... Well, I guess they don't really want to catch Ivan's attention so they're being kind of quiet..."

If I didn’t feel so bad for her, I’d almost want to slap the Ukraine. It’s not so much out of anger or dislike, but pity and frustration. Was Russia evil? No. Was Russia bent on destroying everything just to spite the free world? No. But Russia/the USSR were not innocents then or now, any more than the United States and its allies were. Still, it was sweet to see him comfort her a little bit, before returning to his duties. At least Lithuania and Poland got a few moments with each other.

Russia isn't evil, he's just BRUTAL. But he's the most brutal with himself, so it's not something I can fault him on as foreign policy goes. He lives in one of the most naturally difficult terrains in the world and so he had to get pretty hard to eck out a living there, and he just kind of ended up bringing that philosophy of 'shut-up, try harder, you have to be strong to survive' into everything.

True, Russia is quite the brute. Still want to give him a hug, since it's just not fair. So it goes.

In fiction, I do have a great tendancy to be drawn to the abused-child-turned-villainous archetypes...
