hp_humpdrabbles Audrey hurried down the corridor to Percy's office, anxious not to be late for their lunch date. She opened his door, calling out a breathless greeting, and saw that her husband was not alone.
"Harry? I haven't seen you in weeks!"
As her brother-in-law turned around and greeted her, she noticed something missing. "Where are your glasses?"
"I let Victoire try an experimental charm on me. It worked, and I don't need them anymore. I just came by to see if Percy wanted to have a go with it, but I'll let the two of you get to your lunch date." Harry shook Percy's hand, hugged Audrey, and left the office.
Audrey kissed Percy hello, and said, "Are you thinking about letting Victoire experiment on your eyes?"
Percy looked over his glasses at Audrey. "Victoire is the best Healer St. Mungo's Research and Development Department has seen in decades. It's not like I'd be letting just anyone cast charms on my eyes."
"So you're really thinking about it?"
"Yes, but I'm starving. Lunch?"
Audrey nodded and took Percy's arm, but she was lost in her thoughts. She had always thought Percy very sexy in his glasses. She glanced up at his face. Even after almost thirty years together, he still looked sexy in his glasses. She liked the way he raised his eyebrows and looked over them if he was questioning someone. She loved how he wore his glasses when they made love, because he wanted to see her clearly. The vision came to Audrey's mind of Percy's glasses-clad eyes peering up at her from between her thighs . . .
"Audrey? Audrey?! Are you all right, love? You're all flushed and you weren't listening to a word I was saying."
Audrey stared at her husband, trying to comprehend English after what she had been imagining. "I'm sorry, Percy. I'm not all right. You have to continue wearing glasses."
"What? Why?"
Audrey felt her face getting hot and knew she was blushing. She looked around the corridor to make sure nobody was within earshot and whispered, "Because your glasses are sexy as hell."
Percy snorted. "You're mental."
They had arrived at the Apparation point, and Apparated to their favorite lunch spot. When they arrived, Audrey saw they were alone and told Percy in exquisite detail exactly why his glasses were so sexy. Percy was now redder than a tomato. He opened and closed his mouth a few times, but no sound came out.
Audrey smiled and said, "Besides, I wear glasses and have no intention of letting Victoire near my eyes no matter how much I love her. I can't have you looking better than I do, can I?" With a wink, Audrey walked into the restaurant.
They ate, although rather quietly. Percy was not at all up to his normal level of conversational skill. Audrey asked her usual questions about his day, but his answers were not even monosyllabic; more like grunts. Without taking time to talk as they usually did, they finished their lunch rather quickly.
As they were leaving the restaurant, Percy managed his first coherent sentence in half an hour. "We are not going back to work right now." He grabbed Audrey's arm and side-along Apparated her home.
Upon arriving in their entryway, Percy kissed Audrey deeply, unbuttoning her robes as he did. She responded in kind, their clothes quickly making a pile on the floor. They stumbled as they moved together not wanting to let go of each other, and at least successfully fell onto the sofa.

"Sweet Merlin," Audrey muttered, as she played with Percy's chest hair as they lay breathing heavily, tangled together on the sofa. "I should tell you more often exactly what I'm thinking."
Percy chuckled. "I'm glad you did, love. I will be keeping my glasses."
