You had a vision. A plan. A destiny and a goal and a path that was laid out for you - but one that you followed without hesitation.
For it matched up perfectly with your own desires.
You wanted to make it new - wanted to remake it like it should have been. Like it was supposed to be. You wanted the actual, physical material around you to be like what the vision was always meant to show.
Not watered down.
Not destroyed and corrupted.
Not dirtied and polluted and ruined ... by them.
They're the ones who caused it to become like this.
A mockery of what it was meant to be.
But not anymore.
You knew you would bring it all back from the brink - save everything and renew the world, make it as it was always meant to be.
Only once you had removed the cause of the problem ...
Could you work on the solution ...
Then the rebirth of the planet would be complete.
It would be ... so very close to Home.
And you missed that ...
