Lovely. I agree with you that Ron and Hermione would probably get married before Harry and Ginny would. The proposal was quite nice, very simple and charming. I think it is exactly how Harry would propose.

I am wondering though why Ginny's 21st birthday is 'a big deal'.I thought their coming of age is at 17.

Awww....

I've always thought that H/G would be together for a few years before he popped the question.

R/H would get married almost as soon as Hermione finished Hogwarts (they've been together for ages, why wait?) but hold off on having kids.

H/G would spend a few years dating and really getting to know each other, but when they did, they have kids right away.

That's how I see it, and why James is older that Rose.
