Title: Never Leave a Trace
Author: sam_storyteller
Series: White Collar
Pairing: Neal/Elizabeth/Peter
WIP?: Chaptered, complete
Genre: Fantasy, really. Kind of like a dark fairytale.
Brief Summary: Neal Caffrey can steal souls. Peter Burke has two shadows. Everything's normal...except when it isn't.
Your thoughts: If you've ever read American Gods, this fic has very much the same feel... I'd almost call it a crossover in terms of style and mysticism alone. You can taste the Neil Gaiman influence. The author creates this world that just sucks you in, even though it's never really explained, and everything and everyone in it is just so damn interesting.
Plus, the writing style is gorgeous.
In dark corners, in quiet voices, at other times they said this: that he could do magic, real magic, prison magic. He'd once drawn a bird so real it flew off the page. He couldn't be tattooed; the ink ran right out of his skin while he slept. On the outside, he'd jumped off a ledge four floors above ground and walked away unhurt. He could walk through prison bars. He could tell your fortune in the color of your eyes. If you gave him a lit cigarette, he could hypnotize a man just by flicking it back and forth. He could steal your soul if you let him draw you, but he wouldn't (but he had once).

I could spend all day recc'ing sam_storyteller's fic, so just to save time I'ma tell you: go read her stuff (His? I shouldn't stereotype). Whatever, it's awesome, all of it will blow your mind, especially the White Collar and Sherlock bits, hop to it.

Title: Grace of God
Author: geneticallydead
Series: Oz
Pairing: Keller/Beecher
Genre: dark. darkdarkdark. Like most of the stuff that comes out of Oz.
WIP?: Complete, and there's a prequel here.
Brief Summary: AU for the end of Season 6
Your thoughts: As long as we're on the subject of fucked-up things going down in prison... This is like a messed-up heart break. It covers Tobias' decay so intimately and so well that you get a real look into what a life like his does to a person.

Gather round the campfire kiddies, we got us a story to tell. Less-new newbies telling the other newbies the gossip THEY heard on their first day in EmCity: that’s O’Reily, lord of the fucking dance - don’t get on his bad side. That’s Alvarez, short-fused spic (plucked a hack’s eyes out with his naked fingers once). That’s KellerandBeecher.

Don’t call ‘em fags, don’t get too close, and never *ever* touch Beecher.

Title: Unorthodox Methods
Author: captanddeastar
Series: Supernatural/White Collar
Pairing: Neal/Peter, background Peter/Elizabeth, Sam/Jess
Genre: humor! to switch it up, 'cause we're being all kinds of dark up there.
WIP?: One-shot, complete
Brief Summary: AU from original premise of SPN - Sam goes to law school and eventually joins the FBI, where he gets assigned as Peter’s probie, and the New York FBI office staff are amused, and eventually, slightly traumatized.
Your thoughts: Hee. Sam and Neal would totally get on like a house on fire. Peter's a little OOC (neediness!abound), but it's all in good fun and the spirit of the fic, so you kind of write it off as artistic license and just go with it. I also like the bits of Dean lurking around the edges of this story.

When Jones sees Peter walk into his office, he shakes his head immediately, and says, “Respectfully, I’ve got to tell you that if this is another thing where you try and get somebody who works for you make you feel better about Caffrey’s crush on Andre the Giant, I am just not comfortable with that. No offense, Peter.”

I've been trying to get some Doctor Who, since that's what the POLL said people want, but nothing I've read lately has really inspired me too much. Either that or it's super outdated. Bugger. I'll keep looking!

supernatural, white collar, crossover, oz
