Notes: A lovely prompt that explores the escapism that's inherent in a love of literature. Really well done, and it evoked an image of Hank lounging on a couch, spectacles on his nose, reading through his favorite Victorian era novel with a little smile on his face.

Notes: A really nice scene interpreting the quote. River is upset and frightened, and when Simon can't calm her down, another friend steps in. I think that one of the reasons River was able to survive after Simon freed her was because of the quality of people around her. This is a great scene showcasing that quality.

Notes: A nice little scene of Edward speaking to his brother Emmett about the problem he's having with the new girl in school, Bella Swan. The author does a nice job capturing the voices of the characters and crafting a compelling scene that interprets the lyrics of the prompt. One of the things I wish we could have gotten more of in the books was Edward's point of view. It's nice to see it picked up and expressed so well in stories like this.
