Kate Beckett-Castle watched her husband and child from the window. Rick held tightly to their young son's hand as they made their way outside in the newly fallen snow.
Dropping to the ground, Castle showed the toddler the fine art of snow angel making. Nicholas watched his father for a moment and then lay down on the ground, echoing his father's movements in the snow.
Kate glanced from their son to her husband, catching his eye. They shared a smile, before he winked at her.
Inside, Kate laughed and shook her head. She just loved this time of year.
