Cordy stared at the diamond sparkling on her finger, a soft smile gracing her features. After fighting side-by-side for over ten years, living and loving each other, Angel had finally proposed. Under a star-filled sky, he told of a love he couldn't imagine his life without, a love that kept him grounded and made him feel like a man, not the vampire within.
Angel quietly slipped behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her to him. "What are you thinking about?" he asked.
"Us," she told him, resting her head on his chest. "You make me so happy, Angel."
He spun her around. "And you make my life complete. I love you, Cordy," he told her before he gently lowered his lips to hers.
