Elizabeth stands out in the balcony, staring into the moonlit stars, as she toys with the ring on her finger.
It's still hard for her to believe that she's officially Mrs. Sheppard.
She had hoped, wished and often dreamed of the title, but sometimes, like tonight, she'll wake up wondering if it had all been a dream.
She stares at the ring, analyzing its meaning, of love and a bond meant to last forever, but she doesn't need a ring to tell her of that traditional little fact.
She just needs John, and she knows... That's all she'll ever need.
