Friday the 13th @ HoC! Come one, come all!
HoC presents: Friday the 13th, Fangirls Style.
On this most auspicious occasion, we welcome the ever lovely, but always too-far-away lemmealone to the fold. Come and join us as we eat, drink, laugh and watch those Winchester fellas on the Big Screen O' Doom at HoC.
What: Friday the 13th, Fangirls Style.
When: This Friday, 13/11, from 6pm onwards.
Where: HoC HQ, Glebe (text/email/comment for more details)
Who: Anyone who wants to join us. :)
As usual, dinner/drinks/cookies will be provided and we might even have time for a side of Glee for us gleeks in attendance. I'm thinking we'll finish off the evening with JPads stellar performance in F13, or perhaps some super shiny SPN S4 in high-def. Majority rules. :)
This will be the last HoC event for this year, as SPN comes to a close for 2009 on November 20th (for us Aussies). As such, we'll have a quiet gathering next Friday for the hiatus break and a BIG, SHINY, HAPPY gathering for the return in 2010. Watch this space!

In other news, K and I are still plugging along on this whole IVF journey thing. We had a FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) in October, which was sadly negative. We had another FET yesterday and now we're just waiting to see what happens. Pregnancy blood test is scheduled for the 20th of November and here's hoping we actually get a Big Fat Positive (BFP) this time. Cross your fingers! :)
Other than that, nothing much to report. Got some AWESOME casting news for TrueBlood a few days ago, which I'm *still* grinning about. Nothing much else to report, really. I've been really tired for no reason and just can't seem to get into this whole work thing. I think I'm just over it in a major way.
After F13@HoC, K and I are off to visit my folks in Batemans for Slava, as we do every year. I anticipate lots of deliciously awesome food, awesome drinkies and some well overdue time with Big Poppa Fickwalker and Mama Fick. Hopefully that'll be enough of a break for me to recharge my batteries and get me back in the game.
Speaking of 'games'.. My amazing Boys In Green are off to a great start (touch wood) this season. Currently 7-1 and looking strong and awesome. I'm definitely looking forward to the 21st and another live game on ESPN-HD. Maybe this time we can avoid boring the hell outta A. We love you A, and the fact that you put up with our crazy, basketball loving ways! :)
