waning days of summer
i'm going to see the bolshoi on sunday!
my master plan to use netflix to its fullest by watching an avg. of 2 movies a day is failing due to unforseen shipping delays. i forgot to take into account that netflix wouldn't be able to receive and ship movies that fast. i sent back 3 movies on mon. but they didn't get it till wed. and the new movies came on thurs. the biggest foil to my plan is that they don't ship on weekends. a big f-u to netflix.
in other important news! i lost all faith and respect for the CHP and other police authorities, at least in LA or OC, when i was belittled by a fat motorcycle cop. on monday at 5am, a 25 yr old woman jumped out of the window of a hummer limo that was going like 65-75 mph, and died when she was hit by like 12 cars. so this whole disgusting and disturbing incident closed down 4 lanes on the 405--the 405!!! right at rush hour. it created the worst traffic backup in OC history. the traffic was so bad it even jammed side streets in the cities near the freeways. PCH, Brookhurst, and Magnolia--the street that i was turning on that morning on my way to work unaware of the 405 hummer suicide. i noticed there was a huge back up of cars on adams and magnolia all in one lane and motorcycle cops directing traffic at intersections. i had no clue what was going on though and when i made my left turn from adams onto magnolia i went into the empty left lane because i had to eventually make another turn and there didnt seem to be a reason why a whole lane had to be left empty. that's when this fat motorcycle cop blared his horn at me and shouted "get out of the lane, Biiiiiiiitch!" i elongated the bitch because he yelled it out really furiously in a rage. i was shocked! what the hell! ive never been yelled at like that by any motorist, even those ive almost hit, much less an officer of the law. how dare he call me a bitch, that bastard. he was totally abusing his power and violating his responsibility to protecting the people. dude, the taxes i pay goes to paying your sorry ass to ride around on your motorcycle and eat donuts. also, there's been a number of LAPD shootout incidents involving overzealous officers killing unarmed black ppl or in a recent case shooting a crazy man and his infant baby like 60 times. i also read in a recent latimes that the oc sherrifs office deputized friends and relatives! the most frustrating thing is that i couldnt do anything about him yelling at me like that. my mom told me to call the chp, but what am i supposed to say? a white middle aged obese man with a mustache called me a bitch. that probably describes over half the chp.

i want a lacoste shirt. i tried one at the lacoste outlet. i thought $50 for a shirt puhlease. then i tried it on and it was magnificent. but i wasnt ready to take the plunge, even at the outlet. but i want one way bad now. why though?? it's just a shirt with a stupid croc right? but the fabric is bright and stretchy and soft and it fits nicely againt the silhouette and it supposedly lasts like 20yrs.....
