CW Budget Thoughts
I was reading a spoiler (no spoilers here) on the Sam and Dean site and someone made an interesting comment about the CW budget. I won't post the link here due to the spoiler, but the budget comment was interesting enough that I thought I'd post it. It's posted anonamously, so take it for what it's worth:
It's not that the budget is lower, they got the same amount for season 4 as they had for season 3. The problem is that the American dollar is suffering from a really bad exchange rate with Canada. The American dollar isn't worth as much as the Canadian dollar right now, so it's like the budget is lower.
Isn't that an interesting thought/take on things? If that's true, then maybe I don't hate the CW as much as I previously did. I also wonder if their budget is the same, but maybe the boys get a raise every year and that takes away from the remaining budget.
