nattieloveqyu,
emo_what97 “UMAAAA!!!” a five-year-old’s cries could be heard through the entire neighbourhood.
“Kyuhyun-ah, just hold still for a moment!” Leeteuk ordered, trying to fix the little red bow-tie he’d made Kyuhyun wear. The little boy though, was squirming around in objection. “Umma! I don’t wanna wear it! It’s itchy!!”
“Which is precisely why I need to fix it, so stay put.”
Kyuhyun pouted, jutting his cheek out in frustration as he finally gave up the struggle.
“That’s a good boy.” Leeteuk praised, patting his son on the head. “Now you’ll look so smart and handsome for the family photo later.” That only made the kid frown more.
Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun’s elder brother walked into the room. “I’m ready, umma!” he announced.
The younger boy glanced up. “Hey, how come Hyukkie hyung doesn’t hafta wear a bow tie?!” he whined, eyeing his elder brother in envy.
“That’s cuz I’m a big boy now!” Eunhyuk boasted, making Kyuhyun stick his tongue out, as if it was a venomous weapon. The elder boy did the same.
Kangin had appeared at the door, “Aish, you boys keep bickering.” he said, putting on his socks. “One day, you’re going to grow up and go your separate ways, then you’ll miss each other.”
“Appa’s right. Better appreciate one another now, before it’s too late.” Leeteuk agreed.
The two boys rolled their eyes, not believing a thing.
Leeteuk glanced at the clock. “Oh my goodness, we better get going!” he exclaimed. “Don’t wanna be later than Heechul-ajusshi, now do you?”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“HYUKKIE!”
“FISHY!!”
Seven-year-old Donghae literally pounced on his best friend. “Hyukkie!”
“Fishy!”
“Aish, get a ROOM!” little Kyuhyun bellowed, annoyed; a grimace on his face.
“What’s that mean, Kyu?” Siwon asked, walking up from behind. “Oh, and, hi!”
“Anyeong,” Kyuhyun replied. “It’s a grown up thing, Wonnie.” he waved the subject away, making the elder boy furrow his eyebrows in confusion.
“What’s a grown up thing?” Leeteuk asked, overhearing that last sentence.
The magnae shot him the most innocent smile that he could muster. “Nothing, umma!” he said sweetly. Then, bounded away; leaving poor Siwon to follow after.
Leeteuk stared, pursing his lips. “Well, he got you there, old man.” Heechul teased, patting said ‘umma’ on the back. “Oh, Seasoning’s here!” And true enough, in came Zhoumi and his three kids.
“Helloooo!” he sing-songed, approaching the two older men, who waved back. Zhoumi looked at his two sons trailing behind. “Sungmin. Ryeowook. Say ‘hi’ to your ajusshis. “Anyeong!” the two children did a 90 degree bow each.
“Now, who’s this little cutie-pie?” Leeteuk cooed, noticing the baby in Zhou Mi’s arms.
“This is Henry!” At the mention of his name, the two-year-old giggled delightfully.
Heechul said, “So, I finally get to meet my adopted nephew!” Hangeng and Zhoumi were brothers, you see...
“My, oh my, his cheeks!” Leeteuk gushed. “They’re so puffy!”
*Squish,* the man pinched them, making Henry giggle some more.
“Yah, Jungsu, what are you trying to do?! Deflate them?!” Heechul asked.
“He enjoys it! Don’t you, Henry?” the little boy gurgled in response, evoking Leeteuk to continue prodding at his cheeks.
Ryeowook tapped at his father’s free hand, “Baba, can we go play with the others now?”
“Of course, dear! Why don’t you take Henry with you too, Sungmin-ah?”
“Okay, Baba!” Zhou Mi then released the two-year-old to the ground.
“Let’s go have some fun, Henry-ah!” said Sungmin.
The squishy-cheeked boy took hold of his elder brother’s palm. “Okway!”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Piu! Piu! Piu!”
“You won’t be able to resist... the Specium Ray!” Eunhyuk yelled, crossing his wrists together.
“Yah, that’s from ULTRA-MAN!! We’re playing Transformers!!” Donghae shouted back.
“Whatever!”
Sungmin walked towards the two boys, Ryeowook clutching his left hand, and Henry, his right. “Hey, guys!” he greeted.
“Hiya, Sungmin hyung; Wookie-sshi!” Donghae said, stopping mid-piu to wave at his cousins. Eunhyuk, on the other hand, grabbed at the chance to ‘attack’ Fishy. “Whoo! Decepticons rule the world!” he exclaimed, but not forgetting to greet Zhou Mi’s kids first, of course.
“No fair, Hyukkie! You cheated!!” Donghae whined. “I wasn’t paying attention!”
“Attwension? Wat ‘atwenssion’, Minnie-hwung?” Henry narrowed his eyes, not understanding the word.
“Eh, who’s that?!” Eunhyuk and Donghae both stared, bug-eyed, noticing the two-year-old for the first time.
“This is Henli! Our new baby brother!” Ryeowook answered proudly.
“HenRY, Wookie-hwung! No Henli!”
“Oh, mianhae!”
“Well, congrats, Hae! You’ve got a new couisin!” Eunhyuk nudged the still rather stumped Fishy.
“Yeah!” Donghae grinned. “Cool!”
“Cwool! Cwool! Cwool!” Henry repeated, giggling, his arms flailing around as he did.
“Awww, so CUUTE!” EunHae couldn’t help but squeal at the sight.
Sungmin gestured towards the boys, “Henry, this is Donghae-hyung and Hyukjae-hyung.”
“And I’m Siwon-hyung!” Said little boy had come sauntering towards them, Kyuhyun at his side. “Hey, Kyu! It’s my new cousin that Baba’s been talking about!”
“Squishy...” Kyuhyun observed through his round-rimmed glasses.
“Boys, time to take the family photo!” Hangeng called from the next room.
Ryeowook sighed, “Awww, do we have to?”
“I wanna play some more!”
“Baba’s gonna get mad if we don’t...”
Kyuhyun made a run for it. “Well, bye!”
“Kyu, where are you going?” Eunhyuk asked.
“To take the photo. Duh.” the little boy turned away, hiding a smirk.
The elder brother narrowed his eyes, knowing very well that Kyuhyun despised having his picture taken, but was distracted again when he felt a tug on his hand.
Henry was looking at him, brown orbs round and innocent. “Hwukjae-hwung? Me want up!”
“Sure, buddy!” And that was when Eunhyuk knew that Henry had made it onto the list of things he could not refuse...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Kyuhyun?” Leeteuk called. “Where are you?”
Kyuhyun smirked, stifling a giggle as he crawled under a table. He then secured the table cloth that draped around the edges, making sure that he was no where amongst his umma’s sight.
“Hey, this spot’s taken!” A voice hissed from behind, shocking the little boy into turning around three-sixty.
“Changminnie! You’re here!” Kyuhyun whispered with a smile. “Don’t wanna take a photo too?”
“Uh-huh.” Changmin replied.
“So...”
“What do we do now, Kyunnie...?”
“Uh, hide?”
“Ish...”
“Oh, I know!” Kyuhyun exclaimed in hushed tones, pulling out a device from his pocket. Seeing this, Changmin did the same. “Great idea, Kyunnie!” His voice was laced thick with admiration for the elder boy.
And the two cousins happily played with their PSPs under the table, not forgetting to mute the volume first, though -- Didn’t want umma-Teukie to hear them, now did they?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boing, boing, boing, boing!
Siwon giggled, watching as his yellow yoyo bounced up and down at his control.
Boing! Boing! Boi --
-- Snap!
Siwon gasped. Oh no, the yoyo’s string had snapped broken! The plastic circle now rolled towards a nearby table, slipping underneath it’s velvet table-cloth before the little boy’d even had the chance to scamper after it.
“What the...” Little Kyuhyun paused the game he was playing, noticing the entrance of a yellow circle. Changmin stared after with mirrored surprise.
“Yoyo, come back!” Siwon’s shout could be heard from nearby, then the rustling of the table-cloth and the appearance of the elder boy’s limb.
“Awww, crap.” Kyuhyun muttered -- a little unapropriate for a kid his age. if you ask me -- when he realised what was happening. He and Changmin were going to be exposed!
At that moment, Siwon emerged under the table on all fours, eyes widening at the sight of the two five-year-olds. Kyuhyun hastily extended his arm, trying to clamp a palm down on Siwon’s mouth, but it was too late -- “I found them!” the elder boy yelled, dodging Kyuhyun’s hand. “Ajusshi! Ajusshi! I found Kyunnie and Changminnie!!”
Kyuhyun retrieved the broken yoyo from the ground, then chucked said object at poor Siwon. “Yah, party-pooper!” he shouted. Changmin just face-palmed.
“Ouch!” Siwon rubbed at his forearm, where the yoyo had smacked him, and that was when Leeteuk took a peek under the table.
“Good boy, Siwon.” he praised, and the two younger boys were forced out from under the table, frowns etched upon their faces.
But the trouble didn’t end there though -- a certain mischievous little magnae had made sure of that...

“One... two... three... Say kimchi!”
*Flash*
“Wait, wait, wait! One more!” The photographer instructed. “Kid over there made a funny face.” All attention swivelled towards Kyuhyun, who sat on his umma’s lap, an innocent ‘what-did-I-do?’ expression gracing his features.
“.... Say kimchi!”
*Flash*
Ryeowook blinked, the glare of the camera temporarily affecting his eye-sight. And just when everyone thought they’d taken the perfect shot, the photographer told them otherwise. “I don’t remember that little boy having any bunny ears...”
Sungmin looked up, shot Kyuhyun a pointed look. “What? I thought you liked bunnies?” the younger boy asked in an angelic tone. Sungmin pouted; took a light whack at his dongsaeng. Kyuhyun smirked.
“Okay, let’s just try again.” Leeteuk gave his youngest son a warning look.
“... Kimchi --”
“-- OUCH!!” Donghae and Eunhyuk both jolted up in their seats, rubbing at their behinds in pain.
“Kyuhyun...” Kangin snapped.
“What?! I didn’t do anything!!”
“You pinched us!” Eunhyuk protested.
“I did not!”
“Yes, you did!”
“Did not!”
“Did to!!”
Leeteuk sighed. Sometimes, he wondered where Kyuhyun got his genes from...
Heechul leaned over, “You know what you should do, Jungsu?”
“No, Heenim. I am not locking my son in a cage until the day he turns twenty-one.”
The younger man laughed manically. “I was going to suggest sending him to Military School, but heck, that works too!”
Leeteuk sighed again. This was going to be a long, long day...
